NAIROBI, Kenya — The U.N.’s children agency says an increasing number of children and civilians are being caught in attacks and crossfire across south and central Somalia.
UNICEF said Tuesday that 24 children were killed in conflict in Somalia in October, nearly double the confirmed child killings in every other month of 2011. UNICEF said 58 children were also confirmed to have sustained serious injuries in October, the highest number this year.Read full article >>
