North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue, who went dark for two days after releasing a statement last Thursday saying she wouldn't seek reelection, grants her first lengthy interview to WRAL's David Crabtree.
At the 13-minute mark, she explains that there were "a lot of personal reasons" that drove her decision that she'd never discuss in public.
Correction: Perdue adviser Marc Farinella emailed shortly after I posted to note that Perdue's first comments to reporters actually came on Saturday night following a Democratic dinner. WRAL was the first one-on-one interview she did.
