GungHo Fever Is Breaking - Battle For Global App Supremacy Heats Up

A month ago, I asked "Is GungHo Breaking?" Since then, the share price of GungHo has plummeted by about 30%. The drop reflects the volatile, overheated nature of Japan's mobile app industry, where investors have been prone to extreme mood swings in recent months. Many of the key names react violently to news that would cause only moderate moves under normal circumstances. A textbook example is Klab, that saw its share price quadruple in late June news about its Microsoft collaboration trickled out. The fact that the first phase of the collaboration seems to consist of merely doing an iOS version of "Age of Empires" then lopped off more than 40% of the share price in a matter of weeks.
