Вторая по величине в Германии сталелитейная компания Salzgitter, по словам ее СЕО, не исключает слияния с фирмой Aurubis. Заметим, что в настоящее время Salzgitter принадлежит 25% акций Aurubis, и, по мнению СЕО первой, в один день компании могут стать единым предприятием.

(XETRA:FPEG_p) which was up 1.63% to settle at 40.275 and Aurubis AG (XETRA:NAFG) which gained 1.07% to close at 57.690. The worst performers were Prosiebensat 1 Media AG (XETRA:PSMGn) which was down 3.74% to 45.100 in late trade, Tui AG NA (XETRA:TUIGn) which lost 2.47% to settle at 16.575 and Rheinmetall AG (XETRA:RHMG) which was down 1.78% to 49.415 at the close. The top performers on the TecDAX were QSC AG NA O.N. (XETRA:QSCG) which rose 7.10% to 2.217, Jenoptik AG O.N. (XETRA:JENG) which was up 3.46% to settle at 11.800 and Stratec Biomedical (XETRA:SBSG) which gained 3.23% to close at 48.520. The worst performers were Freenet AG NA (XETRA:FNTGN) which was down 5.27% to 30.545 in late trade, Drillisch AG O.N. (XETRA:DRIG) which lost 3.92% to settle at 42.540 and Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (XETRA:PV) which was down 3.78% to 86.060 at the close. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 418 to 328 and 29 ended unchanged. Shares in Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO O.N. (XETRA:FPEG_p) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.63% or 0.645 to 40.275. The DAX volatility index, which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 0.10% to 19.79 a new 1-month low. Gold for June delivery was up 0.16% or 1.90 to $1206.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.60% or 0.97 to hit $59.75 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 1.74% or 1.16 to trade at $65.39 a barrel. EUR/USD was down 0.69% to 1.1035, while EUR/GBP rose 0.46% to 0.7128. The US Dollar Index was up 0.69% at 96.12.

Участники рынка позитивно отреагировали на решение ОПЕК отказаться от сокращения добычи нефти. Её котировки обвалились примерно на $6 за баррель, что заметно уменьшит расходы европейского бизнеса. Дополнительным фактором роста стало снижение инфляции в Германии в ноябре. Это увеличивает шансы скорого начала денежной эмиссии ЕЦБ. Инвесторы полагают, что часть денег так или иначе попадёт на фондовый рынок. Курс евро, соответственно, понизился. Сегодня утром европейские фондовые индексы слегка корректируются вниз в ожидании данных по инфляции и безработице для всей Еврозоны, которые выйдут в 10-00 СЕТ. Этому также способствует негативная динамика котировок европейских нефтяных и энергетических компаний и падение акций Aurubis AG на 7% из-за снижения их прогноза от инвестбанка Goldman Sachs.
