Франция создаст госкомпанию по добыче металлов

Франция планирует инвестировать до 548 миллионов долларов в создание новой государственной горнодобывающей компании под названием Национальная добывающая компания Франции (CMF). Инвестиции, которые будут распределены в течение пяти-семи лет, знаменуют собой создание первого государственного промышленного предприятия на территории Европейского союза за последние 20 лет. CMF будет построена по той же модели, что и Национальная компания Японии (JOGMEC), которая была создана десять лет назад в 2004 году, и занимается добычей нефти, газа и металлов. Ежегодный оборот JOGMEC составляет 150 миллионов долларов. Акционерами новой госкомпании Франции по добыче металлов станет бюро геологических и горных исследований (BRGM), а также Агентство по государственному участию (EPA). Геологоразведочные работы CMF будут сосредоточены главным образом на поиске месторождений специальных металлов, включая литий, германий, вольфрам, сурьму и редкоземельные металлы на территории как самой Франции, так и по всему миру, в том числе в бывших колониях в Африке и Южной Америке. По словам министра, создание компаний с госучастием снова становится актуальным, и это хорошо для экономики страны. Социалистическое правительство Франции также находится в процессе пересмотра устаревшего закона для горнорудной промышленности. В прошлом году правительство выдало разрешение на добычу золота во Франции канадской компании La Mancha Resources, а также права на ведение горной разведки австралийской компании Variscan. C 70-х годов прошлого века Франция практически не представлена в крупных горнорудных проектах. Хотя в стране есть добывающая компания по добыче никеля Eramet, также государством ведётся добыча урана, плюс государственный оператор атомной станции Areva. Но этого явно недостаточно для такой страны как Франция. Именно поэтому правительство страны намерено расширить своё присутствие в горнодобывающих проектах.
