В Польше при землетрясении в шахте погибли восемь горняков

Во время землетрясения в местности Польковице в Нижней Силезии в медной шахте «Рудна» погибли восемь шахтеров. Еще девять человек получили легкие травмы, сообщает «Интерфакс». 29 ноября был зафиксирован поземный толчок магнитудой 3,4 балла с эпицентром на глубине 1100 метров. Компания KGHM Polska Miedz SA, которой принадлежит шахта, сообщила, что в штольнях произошли масштабные обрушения и возникли завалы. Более суток продолжались спасательные работы, тела всех погибших уже подняты на поверхность. Последнее землетрясение магнитудой 4,7 балла произошло в районе шахты в 2013 году, тогда удалось спасти 19 человек. Как сообщил директор «Рудны» Павел Марковский, нынешнее обрушение стало самой крупной катастрофой на этой шахте за последние 50 лет. Шахта «Рудна» входит в десятку мировых лидеров по добыче меди, на ней работают более 4,4 тысяч человек.

Вечером в пятницу, 24 сентября, в шахте Полковице-Серошовице на юге Польши произошел обвал. Согласно последней информации, в результате происшествия погибли два горняка, а еще один получил ранения.

KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:KGHM) declined 4.36% or 3.92 points to end at 85.97 and Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA (WA:PEO) was down 3.03% or 4.90 points to 156.68. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 289 to 252 and 108 ended unchanged. Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.16% or 1.48 to $45.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.78% or 0.88 to hit $48.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.85% or 20.70 to trade at $1137.70 a troy ounce. EUR/PLN was down 0.07% to 4.2027, while USD/PLN rose 0.53% to 3.6973. The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 94.87.

У первой польской АЭС появятся ещё три совладельца

Три польских государственных компании договорились о выкупе каждая по 10% акций первой польской АЭС, пишет местная пресса со ссылкой на заявления компаний. Польская энергетическая группа PGE сохранит за собой 70% акций будущей станции. Миноритарными владельцами станут две других генерирующих компании "Tauron Polska Energia" и "Enea SA", а также меднодобывающая компания "KGHM Polska Miedz SA". О парафировании соответствующих документов было объявлено 23 сентября 2013 года. На сегодняшний день, в Польше нет действующих АЭС. Строительство атомной станции в Жарновце было заморожено после смены в стране государственного строя. В последние годы польское правительство и энергетические компании пересмотрели в положительную сторону своё отношение к атомной энергетике. До конца 2013 года совет министров Польши должен принять окончательное решение по строительству первой АЭС. Выбор площадки и подписание контрактов с исполнителем должны состояться до конца 2016 года. Польская госкомпания Lotos отказалась от планов разведки сланцевого газа

Польская государственная нефтяная компания Lotos больше не планирует участвовать в разведке сланцевого газа на территории Польше и сосредоточится на поисках нефти и природного газа, пишет в понедельник Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. Осенью 2012 года Lotos подписала соглашение с государственным нефтегазовым концерном PGNiG о совместной разведке на четырех участках. Аналогичные соглашения о сотрудничестве PGNiG заключила с рядом других государственных фирм, среди которых электроэнергетические компании Tauron, Enea и PGE, а также производитель меди KGHM Polska Miedz. "Мы поддерживаем проект сланцевого газа на международной арене, но сегодня эта тема не касается Lotos непосредственно", - приводит газета слова главы группы Lotos Павла Олехновича. По его словам, приоритетом компании является нефтедобыча и разведка природного газа на шельфе Балтийского моря совместно с американской Cal-Energy. Ранее от планов разведки и добычи сланцевого газа, который должен стать одним из столпов энергетической безопасности Польши, отказались зарубежные корпорации ExxonMobil, Talisman и Marathon Oil. Как писала газета Rzeczpospolita, многие зарубежные фирмы недовольны политикой правительства Дональда Туска, которое, по данным издания, не хочет видеть иностранцев в этой стратегической отрасли. Среди проблем называется также задержка с принятием закона о добыче сланцевого газа. В 2012 году были пересмотрены в сторону понижения оценки запасов этого топлива в Польше. Эксперт по газовому рынку Анджей Щенсняк считает, что с уходом в апреле с поста министра государственной казны Миколая Будзановского руководители втянутых в разведку сланцевого газа госкомпаний вздохнут с облегчением. По словам Щенсняка, KGHM, Tauron и PGE согласились на сотрудничество с PGNiG под давлением бывшего главы ведомства. "Без Будзановского тема сланцев постепенно будет отходить на второй план", - приводит Dziennik Gazeta Prawna слова эксперта. Правительство Польши объявило поиск сланцевого газа одним из ключевых элементов обеспечения энергетической независимости государства. Согласно предварительным оценкам Геологического института Польши, запасы сланцевого газа в стране составляют от 345 до 768 миллиардов кубометров. Такой объем может полностью удовлетворить потребности Польши в газе на 35-65 лет.
